BASIC INVITE: BEAUTIFUL INVITATIONS AND A WEDDING GUEST BOOK WITH PHOTOS

When searching for wedding invitations, I decided to order samples from a few different places. Basic Invite stood out to me with their wedding stationary because unlike other places, I could order fully customized sample invitations – down to every color and word.

I am a graphic designer, and I knew that I wanted an invite that I could fully control without having to make it all from scratch (because wedding planning is busy enough already). Basic Invite has over 180 color options, and if you don’t want to order a sample, you can still instantly preview your invitation on their website. You can change the color of basically anything on the invitation! For someone that wanted to micro-manage their invitation without having to fully design it, it was basically perfect.

The sample quality

I have gotten a lot of invitation samples over the past few months, but I can honestly say how impressed I was with the samples from Basic Invite. First off, the paper itself seemed so much higher quality and thicker than other samples I’ve ordered. You can also customize the actual shape of your invite so I chose some samples with rounded corners, some that were the traditional square and even one that was bracket shaped.

Seal and Send invitations

The one style I was extremely curious about was the Seal and Send Wedding Invitation. It’s a 3-1 in one invitation suite – your RSVP card, invite and envelope are all connected. It looked so nice in person! And the fact that it’s all connected makes it a no-brainer for guests, as well as your sanity. On top of that, the Seal and Send invitations are also the most affordable.

Envelope addressing

The final thing I love about Basic Invite invitations? They’ll address all the invites for you. I promise you, speaking from experience, this will save you a crazy amount of time.

Guest book options

After looking for invitations, I decided to move on to choosing a guest book. Basic Invite offers a wedding guest book with photos. They have a ton of different options and you can even match your guest book to your invitation (plus your save the dates and any other wedding stationary you order from them.) I really like that you can choose a photo for the cover of your guest book because it would give me another opportunity to use our gorgeous engagement photos again! I think it would also make for the perfect table book later for a coffee table.

Right now Basic Invite has 15% off their entire website with code 15FF51 (because you know I always look for coupons!) Whether you’re looking for wedding invitations, guest books or even holiday cards – I highly recommend checking them out.
